Our New Kitten should arrive in Oct
Our snow girl still needs a name, we can't wait to meet her and see what we think suits her. She comes from some big genetics and we hope she carries this forward into our lines. She will also be our first blue eyed cat.
Sophie's kittens
Sophie and Jerome Kittens have arrived!
Sophie was sooo big for sooo long, or so it seemed we for a month kept thinking she was due anyday. Her big day arrived and she is the proid Mommy of 6 gorgeous kittens. Sophie is our F4 Jungle girl. She has a dose of Savanah, and Bengal in her background.
Here is Sophie a few days before she had her kittens, staked out on her kittening box.

Kittens are almost 5 weeks
The kittens are growing fast, this is Simba doing his little Lion pose
They are just starting to lose some of their baby fuzzies, their markings are starting to show through the long hairs they have had sticking out through their coats.
Ear tips are really starting to stand out too
They really are a combo of Tiger stripes, with spots
This shot shows the baby fuzz, but if the light isn't hitting it those are striped and spotted coats
I like the domestic white mittens, at the end of their striped sleeves, it's a very striking combo they are very unique little guys. We had 4 boys and one little girl.
These kittens are very bonded to people, and have been responding strongly since before their eyes were open. Our runt is our busy people lover, and chases us down all the time. He would grow if he bothered to sleep and eat more.He has us trained he refuses kibble and parks himself in front of the fridge and cries for meat treats. Our vet says no more, and he now gets milk replacer! He loves it, so he is just as happy as long as it comes from the fridge, sorry Mom?
This is Mufasa our dark kitten, he has beautiful charcoal and black markings on gray and a tawny color, he is very striking.

The Kittens are now 1 week old
This little boy looks just like Dad
I think this is the little girl, can't quite tell in the pic.
The blue footed boys are becoming very handsome, and I just noticed have jet black noses.
I can't wait to see how this boy looks in a couple weeks!
Last but not least the 3rd white mittened kitten.

Kittens are here
Chita delivered 5 big fat healthy kittens. She was so big, each kitten was pushing double the average weight for newborn. Even the runt was monster size.
Suprise, suprise our Baba wasn't the father, turns out it was clearly the work of Calvin our poly boy turned man cat who is staying with us till his Daddy finds a new home. Calvin is the ubber cool bro to our fabulous Farah. You would be hard pressed to find another cat like him. He has not only unique very extreme markings, but easily the biggest personality of our charges.
Here are a few blurry shots of the kittens at 1 day old. More to follow!

Baba and Chita are pregnant!
Baba and Chita are pregnant! In fact Chita looks ready to burst. We are not sure when this happened so their due date will be a surprise. We expect it to be before months end.
Baba has had to take a job at the family business, now that he is going to be a father.

Cleo is excited because now she has a title, head dog in charge of cat herding. Baba's has made lots of new friends this week, and lots of folks have gotten a chance to meet their first Jungle Bob.

Farah
Farah
Farah our poly-footed barn cat girl has proven to be a beautiful and very unique girl.I have been trying to get a photo that shows her face but haven't managed but thought I should post a few pics anyway.
Here she is the day she came home at about 6 weeks
She is now about 9 mo, and has the most amazing wild face. I started calling her my little lion because of her wide long nose bridge. She has such a different look to her face.I will catch that eventually, so far she drops her head because of the flash.
Another unusual thing about Farah is she has an actual mane. She has short fur at her shoulders then just as if we tied on a novelty fake fur mane it turns longer in a ruff that goes all the way around her neck.
She is a Long coated spotted girl, you can make out her spots in a number of shorter areas of her coat. Her mother had short fur, as does her brother and you can see the spots clearly on them. Her other nickname is poofy tail!
A better pic of her mane
You can make out her huge poly feet, which she really does use like hands. I am constantly amazed how my poly cats use their feet, and how much dexterity they have.
darn flash
Farah may be our most gymnastically talented cat, she likes to keep herself amused with her antics...audience of one. She dropped our jaws one day while she was throwing around a piece of silicone caulking pulled from an old tub during a reno. She was throwing it over her shoulder then twisting and flipping to catch it. She then from a full sit did a back flip landing back in he sit, probably never see that again!
She is a gorgeous cat and a real lover. We have 12 cats and although they all have great temperaments, there are those who dislike one cat or another. Farah is the only cat that everybody likes. We can house her with anyone.

Soldier
Soldier
This is Potomac Soldier from Potomac Pixie Bobs we hope to see him and a couple females this month as the foundation of our Pixie program. We plan on using him with our Jungle cats, and Jungle Bobs, when he isn't busy with the Pixie girls.
He is from a fabulous breeder Stacey of Potomac Pixe Bobs and we are so pleased she allowed us to have this boy.She has wonderful show, and companion Pixie Bobs.
I found a pic of Soldiers Mom and Dad
this is Potomac's Bobolicious
This is Potomac's Covergirl
This is Jerome
He is our Echo's Dad
He is currently housed at our Cattery on loan from his breeder Jorge. He is an experienced stud, and a gentle soul. His daughter Echo is our most people oriented cat, she is a mischievous love bug who loves nothing better to be with her people. She happily rides around on our shoulders, and likes to be in the action.
Jerome will be on stud duty for the next couple months. We are looking forward to having another dose of genetics from him as we are so in love with our Echo's looks and temperament. We are hoping he will be a good first mate for our new girls, as our Baba is not very experienced and our Sita is a difficult case! She has the Felis chaus mating bark and I think it scares my oh so gentle Baba.
